What is Alpha Online?
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, typically run over eleven weeks. Each talk looks at a different question around life and faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone is welcome. The advantage of Alpha Online is that you are in your own home, can switch off at any time or even have family, friends joining you to try it out.
A chance to connect
Alpha traditionally started in groups sharing a meal together but during this time of social distancing we have learnt that meeting via Zoom works well. Each session still kicks off with a chance to meet new people and connect over video chat!

The Alpha episodes are designed to engage and inspire conversation. They’re about thirty minutes long and explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus? How can we have faith? and How does God guide us?
